Community Infrastructure Levy
CIL is a levy on development to contribute to the funding of infrastructure to support development. CIL and s106 work together with other funding streams to pay for infrastructure.
What we can do? CIL
- Councillor and officer training
- Legislative and policy updates
- Awareness raising - other council departments, community, & development sector.
- Facilitate neighbourhoods, parish councils, unitary, boroughs, district and county councils working together to deliver infrastructure to support development.
